With a half vacant disgruntled expression Eve Gwaladr the human embodiment of Wales stepped out of the light coloured house in which she had been residing in. Life with her nation was never as fun as it used to be, hell it wouldn’t ever be and there was nothing she could ever do to change that. It kind of sucked but if she looked at it from a positive point of view it almost made her feel better. Almost, sure most of her business was handled by England but she was stuck doing the boring paper work, like economic matters or figuring out how to stop the birth and death rate from getting to high or too low. She frowned as she hugged the fluffy sheep plushie close to her body, the warm wool off of the stuffed animal felt comfortable against her pale skin. She’d always loved this toy, and she’d carry it around everywhere, no matter where she went. It was just so cute, sometimes she’d even pretend it was real, you could call her crazy but she was simply lonely. She didn’t really see many other nations, (considering she lived in Britains shadow) and even her fellow countries from the british isles were hardly home to talk to. but what could she do? Personally, she couldn’t do anything. Eve was stuck. She grinned to herself as she finally climbed the top of the hill she’d been attempting; she’d always loved hiking, especially on such a mellow day. It never got to hot in Wales, but the rain was almost constant. She closed her eyes as she stretched herself out on the grass closing her eye gently so her blonde lashes tickled her peach skin. It was heavenly, and she Eve could have stayed there forever. . ... |
